Born in Thessaloniki, Greece.
In 1996 he abandoned his geology studies
at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in order
to study Graphic Design. After finishing his studies
and practice, he left his home city for Athens
so as to work at Futura Publications
as graphic designer at first and later
as art director. At the same time he started
to freelance and in 2001 he began his collaboration
with Notos Theatre Company (Amore Theatre)
which continued till the closing of the theatre in 2008.
In 2004 he won an award for Best Designed
Book Cover and three merits (two for Book Cover
Design and one for Book Design) in Greek Graphic
Design & Illustration Awards (EBGE 2004). In the
same year he worked as a storyboard artist for the
Closing Ceremony of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.
During 2006 he participated in Design Panorama,
giving a lecture on book cover design and in 2007
he was a member of the jury for the Greek Graphic
Design & Illustration Awards (EBGE 2007).
From 2004 he has been running his own
creative office (Front) working mainly in the cultural sector.
He designs theatre programs, posters,
cultural events' catalogues, book covers, books,
logos and corporate identities.
His work is being regularly published
in magazines and newspapers.
Lately he's becoming gradually a football-maniac and for that
the ones to blame are his lovely wife and Liverpool FC.
